Ditch the floaties and gridlock traffic that come with renting a house on the Cape. Come on a real adventure- to the island of Lopud. Known for having the best beaches in the Dubrovnik region of Croatia, it’s the perfect setting to get our fitness on. You’ll be surrounded by people with the same energetic spirit as you, working out during the day and hydrating at night.

Our days will be spent in typical SYB style- exploring the beauty that is our playground. You’ll venture through the green hills of Lopud by mountain bike and experience the islands by kayaking through the crystal clear waters. With our professional photographer snapping candids throughout the adventures, your Insta is sure to put any L.L.Bean catalog to shame.

After working on that booty, enjoy the island lifestyle by straight up chillin with a beer in hand. Watch the sunset, lounging on the beach while maybe having that second cocktail. Our chef will prepare healthy meals that give you the energy needed for a night of dancing and making memories with new friends.

ITINERARY

August 16th | August 23rd FLIGHT


Be sure to book your departure flights for the 16th/the 23rd so you arrive in Dubrovnik (DBV airport) on the right day (the 17th/the 24th). Aim to be at the Dubrovnik airport before noon so we can take the ferry to Lopud as a group.

August 17th | August 24th OUR NEW HOME


Arrive before noon on this day, we'll hang out in Dubrovnik to let everyones flights arrive. We’ll be taking the 1:30pm ferry from Dubrovnik to Lopud to meet our 3pm check-in at our magical SYB castle! If your flight gets in later, there are two other ferries you can take to get to Lopud: one leaves at 4:30pm and the other at 8pm.

We'll get to know each other and our amazing location. Dinner is served at 9pm, dancing is rampant, and lights go low and the disco balls come out. Where this night takes you is your story, but this is just day 1.

August 18th | August 25th UNDERWATER CAVES


Get ready to experience SYB to it's fullest. We begin with wake up calls, more on this later, go straight into morning workouts, beach games, yoga cooldown, a dip in the ocean to clean up, and a hearty breakfast all before it's even 10am.

Today we kayak to the underwater caves around us and explore the nature and beauty of this place.

We enjoy a few drinks while the sun goes down, everyone stops what they are doing as the sun is about to set, we hand a drink in everyones hand and cheers to one of the most beautiful 24 hours you've ever had.

This is also the night we head into town for dinner, bring your dancing shoes!

August 19th | August 26th DUBROVNIK


After our morning routine we take you to beautiful and old Dubrovnik. Here we'll have a walking tour and end it by taking an optional gondola ride for a magnificent view. We break off from the group and have free time to shop and explore before meeting at a special restaurant overlooking the old stone walls. We'll stay and party a little bit before heading back to our island home.

August 20th | August 27th SUNJ BEACH


Easy morning yoga because we know last night was crazy. Today we hike and explore our little island the nearby Sunj beach. Known for its shallow waters that extend for hundreds of feet, we'll snorkel, kayak, lounge and take it all in with 35 of your new best friends.

Mid day we'll have various workouts planned, optional runs, yoga workshops, and of course beach bootcamps! Whats better than having a drink once you've finished a tough sweat session!?

As the sun set's we pull out the yoga mats and stretch out our sore bodies. We'll take the yoga practice to a deeper level, this is where magic happens.

Dinner will be at our home tonight!

August 21st | August 28th BIKING & CYCLING


We'll skip the morning workout today because our day is going to be full of fitness adventuring! We start by kayaking from our island to Šipan Island. Then we'll cycle between the villages of Suđurac and Šipanska luka discovering secluded island bays, scenic sea caves and idyllic villages. We will have plenty of time to stop en route for swimming, snorkeling, and an exploration of the secret Green Cave.

Lunch will be at a seaside restaurant(not provided) where we'll enjoy views of the Peljesac Peninsula and the outer Elafiti Islands.

Dinner is in our little town on our little island.

August 22nd | August 29th BOAT DAY


We'll go through our morning routine and then head straigh for our beautiful boat. We'll cruise through the islands, and see the Dalmatian Coast the way is needs to be seen, from the water!

We finish our night with a beautiful dinner at our home. We'll present SYB awards, share stories, and then party our asses off for our last night together!

August 23rd | August 30th RETURN HOME


Everyone will be checking out at 10am the latest!

ACCOMODATIONS

We’re located on the beautiful Island of Lopud which is part of small Elaphiti Island archipelago and only 5 miles from Dubrovnik. We’ll be very secluded and have our own area for SYB parties, there will be close to 35 of us! There are a lot of steps to get to the house but it worth the views that we get! Nearby neighbors have a rooster and a few goats.

Can you handle it?

Almost everyday you can expect morning workouts, sunset yoga and hikes throughout our little island. We'll be pairing that with big group dinners, nights out in town, and lots of dancing! You can always take it at your own pace, skip workouts or adventures and stay back at the house.

If you have an open mind and a sense of adventure we believe you can easily handle this advenure!

Going Alone

Yes, in fact that is recomended. We'd love you to be whoever you want on this adventure and bringing a friend could also bring old habits.

But we understand it is intimidating and hard because you feel like you don't know anyone... trust us, this is the way to go!

Flights

Please fly into Dubrovnik early enough so that you can meet the whole group at the ferry station at 1pm. There is a ferry that leaves at 1:30pm to Lopud that we want to all be on together. Registration + Payment

  • Deposit: Your $500 deposit is used to secure your spot and goes toward your full payment. Your deposit is non-refundable or transferable.
  • The remaining balance is divided into three additional payments with the full payment due 30 days prior to the adventure's start date.
  • Trip credit (less deposit) may be transferred towards a future trip (within 12 months) up to 30 days prior to the start of the trip.
  • Please note that there are absolutely no refunds or deposit transfers for cancellations within 30 days of the trip. We strongly encourage all participants to purchase trip insurance just to be safe.

Where are we staying?

Self Care

We'll be doing some adventures throughout this trip that require a bit of self awareness of the surrounding area.

Dehydration is a common cause of feeling unwell. We require everyone to bring their own refillable water bottle and drink lots of water.

Avoid drinking too much alcohol. Of course you will want to enjoy a few beers and try some of the local rum around the first night, however don't make yourself a liability. Nobody wants to have to look after a drunk person. You don't want to miss out on the day activities if you are trying to recover from the night before!

Your skin will burn easily get the proper gear and protection!

Food

We know this is going to be a huge highlight for you. We have a long 3 year partnership with New York's SALUD cafe, who prepares every breakfast and most lunches and dinners. Not only that but the cocktails themselves are worthy of those $17 specialty drinks from NYC. Also don't worry vegetarians and vegans, we cater to ya'll as well.

Safety and Security in the Region

There has been no incidents that we've heard of or come across that would have us concerned. You are safe in the area and very safe if you stay with us.

Sleeping Arrangements

We'll assign you to a room and roomate according to your pretrip form. Please let us know if there are any special requests.

Bathroom Situation

DO NOT FLUSH ANY PRODUCTS, INDCLUDING PAPER, DOWN THE TOILETS.

This is a third world country and the sewage is not the same as the US. There are waste baskets next to bathrooms, please use those.
