Most of us arrive in Geneva, and by the afternoon, we’re headed straight to Chamonix, where the adventure kicks off. After checking in and meeting the crew, we dive into a welcome reception, get our rentals set up (if needed), grab some drinks, and then it’s off to town for our first night out together. The energy is already high, and the excitement for the week ahead is just starting to hit!
Our first full day begins with morning yoga and a hearty breakfast to get us ready for the slopes. We break into groups by skill level, grab our gear, and hit the mountain! We ski and board our way through the powder, carving up the slopes, and when the sun begins to dip, it’s time for Aprés-Ski. There’s no better way to end a day on the mountain—good vibes, drinks, and stories shared with new friends.
Day two brings more skiing and snowboarding, and by now, we’re all pros at this whole Aprés-Ski thing. After another epic day on the slopes, we head back to the hotel to get ready for the night’s theme party—details are top secret until a month before the trip. With everyone decked out, the night transforms into a lively celebration, and the memories from this night alone are ones we won’t forget.
After two action-packed days, we’re taking it a bit easier with a full-on adventure day. A morning workout and breakfast are followed by a ride up the mountain on the red trolley, then a scenic gondola to explore the glacier and ice caves. We break for lunch at the famous Le Refuge de Montenvers, surrounded by the beauty of the Alps, and later, we unwind at QC Terme, the legendary outdoor spa where we soak, relax, and take in the views. It’s a day of pure alpine bliss!
The next day is another group ski day, and we’re making it epic with a themed party on the mountain. We’ll send you the theme in advance, so be ready to stand out! Between laughs on the slopes, Apres-ski, and an unforgettable dinner in town, it’s a day all about celebrating the spirit of Chamonix and our crew.
To keep things fresh, our last day is open for everything Chamonix has to offer. Feeling the call of the slopes? Grab some friends and go for those early tracks. Want to try something new? There’s paragliding, hiking, or simply enjoying the charm of town. We’ll give you all the options in advance, and in the evening, we reconvene for dinner at the hotel and a closing ceremony to bring the journey full circle.
As we say goodbye the next morning, it’s hard to believe how much we packed into a week. Friendships forged, slopes conquered, and memories that’ll last long after the snow melts. It’s true what they say—it’s not just where you go, but who you go with. Until the next adventure, because SYB trips are just the beginning of something unforgettable!
We recommend flying into Geneva International Airport in Switzerland and using one of many bus services that can take you directly to our accommodations. Based on everyone’s various travel schedules, airport transfers to Chamonix are not included on this adventure. We will assist in the weeks prior with which transport services you would need for airport transfers - it’s extremely fast, easy and inexpensive to book, and then you will be able to control any travel adjustments you’d like to make directly with the company!
Our trip officially starts at 4 pm on March 3rd at Plan B Hostel in Chamonix. We recommend flying into Geneva and taking a shuttle bus, there are several including AlpyBus, Mountain Drop-offs, or Chamexpress. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. We will be discussing this in the group chat leading up to the trip. Our trip ends on the morning of March 9th. Check out is at 10am.
Our trip ends on the morning of March 8th. Check out is at 10am.
This is mandatory. You need to have this to join our trip! We have an insurance partner that you can purchase from during checkout or you can source on your own.
SYB is not responsible for delayed flights or missed flights, that result in late arrivals. If you experience a travel delay, we cannot provide any compensation. We strongly recommend travel insurance in the event of delays and unforeseen travel circumstances.
Up to you. If you have equipment, please feel free to bring it. If not, we will be renting from a local shop that is a less than 5 minute walk from our hotel. They can provide any and all equipment needed for skiing or snowboarding.
Yes, we've got a ski room! Lockers for each room located in the basement.
Yes it will! That is one of the reasons we chose this mountain, because so many of you want to give it a rip! If you do not need our lift tickets we offer a $200 discount. Please use this code at check-out: MYOWNPASS
Anyone using this pass will not be provided lift tickets and will need to purchase it themselves.
*Only valid at check-out and cannot be redeemed after purchase.
All levels are welcome. We will divide into beginner, soft intermediate, hard intermediate, and advanced groups. Recommend some experience as this is a proper mountain, not a bunny hill.
There are various bus routes in the valley which allow you to access the lifts, and it's actually super convenient as our hotel is right outside the bus stop!
Yes of course, next question please...
Yes, on the daily to clean you filthy animals up!
No need to whip out your phone or camera at any point throughout this trip because we have got you covered. We will have a professional photographer and videographer joining us on this trip to capture every moment. These will be the best travel photos and videos you will ever get - you're friends better be ready for a photo dump out of their wildest dreams!!
This experience is included in trip fees.
Fly to Geneva into Genève Aéroport (GVA); from there, you will be shuttled to the stunning Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. The base camp of Chamonix is the highest summit in the Alps - the panoramic views from the peaks are like non-other.
The town of Chamonix is a bustling Alpine town surrounded by breathtaking scenery. With tons of bars, restaurants & shops, Chamonix has developed a reputation for being the sports capital of the world.
Plan B Hotel has a view of Mont-Blanc and is a short 5-minute walk from the lift. There really is nothing more you want for a ski trip!
The local currency in France is Euros. However, most French establishments do not accept international currency outside banks or money exchange institutions.
We suggest bringing about €300 to €400 to use at bars and a few of our dinners (bring more if you're worried about running out!), but otherwise, we've got you covered! For reference, the average price of an alcoholic drink is €8.
There are ATMs in the town of Chamonix, but we urge you to prepare and withdraw cash before the start of the trip!
All meals are included except for 1 dinner in town. Alcohol is semi-provided, meaning when we do happy hour (apres ski) we've got beers, aperol and wine flowing for a 2 hours every afternoon - after that it's up to you if you wanna keep going.
Many local foods in the town of Chamonix are best-enjoyed post-winter activities! From raclette, grilled cheese cooked at your table, to fondue, to brasserie, grilled meat cooked at your table, or tartiflette, a layered potato, cheese, and bacon dish, these warm dishes are all best enjoyed with friends on a cold day!
Don't forget about hot chocolate and warm drinks too! You'll need lots of those to warm up.
There will also be non-cheesy dishes mixed into our diet - got to keep it balanced!
Tap water is safe to drink, but it is heavily chlorinated. Often, it is suggested to drink filtered or mineral water. However, this is pure preference!
Chamonix is very safe for tourists, as it is located in a valley in the french alps. There is a very low crime. However, we suggest leaving all important items in the safe while we are out exploring - but maybe keep your Yeezys and nice jewelry at home!
With a trip of this nature, skiing can be dangerous. Make sure you feel comfortable on skis!
