Most of us land in Geneva and make our way straight to Chamonix to kick off the adventure. Airport transfers aren’t included, but we’ll share our favorite options and help connect you with other SYBers to make it easy. Once you’re checked in and settled, we’ll cover a few logistics during a welcome reception, grab some drinks, and roll right into a welcome party in town to set the vibe for the week.
Our first full day starts with morning movement, stretching or yoga, and a solid breakfast to fuel up before we hit the slopes. We’ll break into groups by skill level so everyone can find their flow and get comfortable on the mountain. After a big day of carving, it’s time to dive into après ski, easily one of the most fun parts of the mountain experience.
Day three brings another full ski day. By now, you’ll know the town and the trails, and we’ll all be pros at the après scene. After riding and après, we head back to the hotel to get ready for a big theme party. The theme drops about a month before the trip, so get ready to go all out.
On day four, we take it up a notch for our themed mountain day. We’re back on the slopes for nonstop skiing and exploring new zones around legendary Chamonix. We’ll chase fresh lines, hunt for hidden stashes, and soak up those epic Mont Blanc views, all while rocking our theme party costumes so you’re easy to spot from the lift. We’ll break for lunch on the mountain and keep the stoke going all afternoon.
Day five is our Courmayeur day trip. We cross the border into Italy for a full-day adventure in Courmayeur, a charming alpine village on the sunny side of Mont Blanc. We’ll ski new terrain, soak up stunning views, and indulge in a proper Italian mountain lunch with pasta and wine that just hits different. This day is all about mixing up the scenery, exploring fresh lines, and adding a little Italian flair to your Alps experience.
Day six is your choose-your-own-adventure day. Head back to the mountain for one last ski session, try paragliding over Chamonix, book a snowshoe hike through hidden alpine trails, visit the Aiguille du Midi for insane Mont Blanc views, enjoy lunch at Le Refuge de Montenvers, check out the Ice Caves, or wander the local shops and cafés in town. In the evening, we’ll come together for a final group dinner, share laughs and stories, and celebrate with our legendary awards to wrap up an unforgettable week in Chamonix.
Departure day is all about one last breakfast and saying your goodbyes. Head out from Chamonix whenever you’re ready, whether you’re going home or off to your next adventure. Expect big hugs, happy tears, and a mind full of memories from an unforgettable week in the Alps.
We recommend flying into Geneva International Airport in Switzerland and using one of the many easy bus services that go straight to our hotel in Chamonix. Because everyone arrives at different times, airport transfers aren’t included on this adventure. In the weeks leading up to the trip, we’ll share the best transport options and help you plan. It’s fast, simple, and affordable to book on your own, and you’ll have full control if you need to adjust anything. Once you’re in Chamonix, all other transportation during the trip is fully organized by us.
Yes, travel and medical insurance is required. You must secure it before joining the program. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you accept full responsibility and agree to our cancellation policy.
To reserve your spot, a 25% deposit is required. This goes toward your total payment. The remaining balance is due six weeks before the program start date.
If you cancel more than 28 days before the program begins, you’ll receive trip credit (minus your deposit) that can be used toward any future SYB trip within 12 months.
If you cancel within 28 days, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions.
We do not offer refunds for any reason. Travel insurance helps protect your investment if anything unexpected happens. It’s worth it.
This trip is built for those ready to send it. Chamonix and Courmayeur are touring mountains made for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders who want to chase fresh tracks, explore wide-open bowls, and squeeze every ounce of fun from these legendary slopes.
We’ll break into small groups based on skill and style. Whether you’re carving groomers, hunting powder, or charging steeps, you’ll be with your people. No bunny slopes here. Just nonstop turns, big mountain laughs, and après stories you’ll be telling for years.
We’re heading to Chamonix, the legendary alpine town at the base of Mont Blanc. Known for its epic ski slopes, charming streets, and that electric après-ski scene, this place is the heartbeat of winter adventure in Europe.
Think fresh powder, cozy mountain cafes, glacier views, and nights out that turn strangers into your new best friends. It’s a perfect mix of big mountain energy and small town charm, and it’s about to become your favorite winter playground.
Our trip officially kicks off at 5:00 PM on March 15, 2026, when you’ll check into our hotel in Chamonix and meet the crew over happy hour drinks.
We wrap up on the morning of March 21. From there, you’re free to head home or keep the adventure rolling somewhere else in Europe. Expect big hugs, a few happy tears, and a head full of unforgettable memories.
All breakfasts and three dinners are included on this adventure. We’ll make sure you start every morning strong and share some unforgettable dinners together throughout the week.
Lunches and most dinners are left open so you can explore Chamonix’s amazing food scene with new friends or on your own. Drinks are not included, but you can count on plenty of chances to raise a glass together.
We’ll be posted up at Plan B Hotel, with a dreamy view of Mont-Blanc and just a quick 5-minute walk to the lift. Cozy rooms, epic mountain vibes, and the perfect home base for all our adventures. There really isn’t anything more you could want for a ski trip.
Up to you. If you have equipment, please feel free to bring it. If not, we will be renting from a local shop that is a less than 5 minute walk from our hotel. They can provide any and all equipment needed for skiing or snowboarding.
Yes, we've got a ski room! Lockers for each room located in the basement.
Yes, good news. The Ikon Pass works in Chamonix and covers multiple areas in the Mont-Blanc valley. Full Ikon Pass holders can ski in Chamonix for up to 7 days, and Ikon Base Pass holders get 5 days with no blackout dates. You’ll be covered across five connected ski zones including Grands Montets, Les Houches, Le Tour Balme, La Flégère, and Le Brévent.
Just bring your Ikon card and go straight to the lifts, no ticket lines needed. Access to specialty lifts like Aiguille du Midi or the glacier trains isn’t included, but you can easily purchase those separately.
If you do not need our lift tickets, we offer a $200 discount. Please use the code MYOWNPASS at checkout. Anyone using this code will not be provided lift tickets and will need to purchase them directly.
Yes, daily.
We’ve got a crew coming through to clean up after you filthy animals so your space stays fresh, even if you don’t. 😎
Chamonix is very safe for tourists, as it is located in a valley in the french alps. There is a very low crime. However, we suggest leaving all important items in the safe while we are out exploring - but maybe keep your Yeezys and nice jewelry at home!
With a trip of this nature, skiing can be dangerous. Make sure you feel comfortable on skis!
France uses the euro (€), and most places in Chamonix accept credit cards. You’ll still want some cash on hand for smaller spots, quick après drinks, or spontaneous crepe stops on the mountain.
We recommend bringing around €300 for extra drinks, lunches, and any fun souvenirs along the way. There are ATMs in town, but it’s always smart to grab cash before you arrive just in case.
Pro tip: Mountain towns are super safe, so carrying cash is totally normal.
Yes, the tap water in Chamonix is clean, safe, and delicious. It comes straight from the alpine sources, so you can fill up your bottle and stay hydrated without any worries.
Absolutely, and we actually recommend it.This trip is your chance to show up as your truest, most adventurous self. No baggage, no expectations, no old routines. When you come solo, you open yourself up to deeper connections, new experiences, and a crew that becomes instant family. We totally get that it can feel intimidating at first—but trust us, this is the best way to do it. Most of our guests come solo, and by day one, you won’t feel that way anymore.
Yes. You can leave your phone in your bag and stay present while a professional photographer and videographer capture every moment. From sunrise workouts to beach adventures and late-night laughs, you’ll get high-quality content without lifting a finger.
And yes, it’s all included in your trip. Your post-trip photo dump is going to break the group chat.
Our hotel is just a quick 5-minute walk from the main lift, so you can stroll over with your crew and be on the mountain in no time. No buses, no long shuttles, just grab your gear and go.
We also have a few buses to take us to other mountains in the valley throughout the week so we can mix it up and explore different terrain.
This is a true Chamonix mountain adventure, not a luxury ski retreat or a quiet yoga escape. Our accommodations are cozy, clean, and right in the heart of the Alps, giving you the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. Mountain life means unpredictable weather, deep snow, and moments that push you out of your comfort zone, so come ready to embrace it all.
Expect morning yoga, group workouts, and adrenaline-filled days carving up the slopes. Whether you’re skiing, snowboarding, or just soaking in the alpine magic, every day is packed with good vibes and epic views. When the sun goes down, après-ski brings everyone together for drinks, stories, and laughs.
Evenings are all about connection and celebration. Think theme parties, group dinners at local spots, and nights that turn into unforgettable memories. You’ll also explore glaciers and ice caves, ride scenic gondolas, and unwind in legendary outdoor spas.
Of course, you can always move at your own pace. Skip a run, hang at the spa, or just take in the mountain views. With an open mind and a love for adventure, you’ll experience Chamonix in a way most people only dream about. Ready to hit the slopes and make memories that last forever? Let’s go.
