Not far from the hustle and bustle of NYC is the fresh air and beautiful scenery of Hunter Mountain. This is an escape from the digital, the processed, the generic and staleness into a vivacious, nutritious, mindful weekend of digital detox and nature! Expect a mini transformation over the weekend, we promise to drop you off better than when we pick you up!  

Start this weekend grounded (shoeless of course and on beautiful green soft grass). We have created a weekend to recharge through a(n optional) digital detox, fresh mountain air hikes, powerful yoga by Erin Ward, DYI face-mask time, presentations from nutritionist Carolyn Brown, healthy meals by SaludNYC owner Eddie Larios, and a place where you will meet some amazing new people.

SO HOW DOES THIS WORK?
We depart from Union Square on Friday 2pm with the SYB Deluxe Vans to arrive at Hunter Mountain around 4pm. We begin by getting ourselves aquatinted with the environment, either a dip in the lake, a yoga class on the lawn and/or a refreshing hike! From the beginning we encourage to be less attentive to the phone and more about the activities we plan. Dinner and drinks will be created by Eddie Larios and Carolyn Brown. Every meal will include an activity that will change the way you see food and meal time.

Over the weekend there will be a full presentation by Carolyn about rituals, such as starting the day with a glass of lemon water, taking a deep breath in the middle of the day, drinking the healthiest alcohol, and other habits easy to create. She will also discuss 'mood foods' and how to feel saner about food and eating enjoyable and easy. On top of that we will learn to make acai bowls, healthy cocktails, our own trail mix and more. Fitness is a huge part of our health and will also be a huge part of the weekend. __________ will lead the group through an all levels power yoga class. With optional fitness classes for anyone looking to get an extra run or sweat in we've got you covered. ___ will also be there to answer any questions about the body of fitness that you might have.

Lastly and most refreshingly we've added mind lifting, body heating, energy blazing MEDITATION! Wait till you experience some stillness in the wilderness! We aiming to slow down life, find what we are appreciative in our lives, and enjoy it as much as possible! 

Basically expect to wake up the Monday following this weekend feeling fantastic with brand new habits, a new outlook in life, and some amazing close new friends in NYC!

Where are we staying?

Do people go solo?

Yes, in fact that is recomended. But we understand it is intimidating and hard because you feel like you don't know anyone, but trust us - it is worth it. #firststepisthehardest

Who normally goes?

There is no average person but we usually have mainly female between 23ishh - 35ishh, but we have all sorts of people. Sometimes Mantas' mom join on our adventures... #allnewfriends

Do I have to do the Digital Detox?

No, we have wifi and if you need to work or Instagram go for it. #offthegrid

How does transportation work?

We will provide transportation from NYC to Hunter. If you decide to drive yourself we will give you the address and time to meet us. #sybuber

Can I just sit back and unwind the whole time?

Yep, no questions asked, this is your weekend. Although we make things really fun so just saying you might be seduced. #playtime

How soon does it fill up, and how does the waitlist work?

We fill up very quickly because of our limited amount of beds, the sooner you can book the better. The waitlist works on first come first serve. Once we contact you off the waitlist you haev 48 hours to book your spot otherwise we move on to the next person on the list.

A professional badass certified nutritionist at FoodTrainers NYC, she will give presentations about 'how to chill out about food' and 'mood foods' among other subjects. There will also be fun engageing activities we will do at our meals, suprise suprise :) #foodplaytime
