Can You Handle It?
Because of the complexity with flights we will not be providing transport from arriving to the airport in Tokyo. Please fly in before 2pm so that you can check-in to the hotel and make our 5pm orientation. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the airport.
Please input your flight info on our check-in platform so we can keep track of you.
We recommend flying to Los Angeles or San Francisco and then taking a direct flight to Tokyo from there.
*PLEASE NOTE* Our trip ends in Hokkaido and you will need to find your own flights back to Tokyo or whatever your destination may be. The airport in Hokkaido is the New Chitose Airport in Sapporo.
Our trip officially starts at 5 pm on February 1st, as that is when you check into our hotel.
Our trip ends on the morning of February 9th. We will be in Niseko, Hokkaido. You will need to book your flight back to either Tokyo to catch your roundtrip flight or fly directly from Sapporo, Hokkaido to your next destination!
We are staying at the The Knot Tokyo in Shinjuku for two nights and then we are going to Always Niseko in Hokkaido for 6 nights.
First stop, Tokyo! The largest city in the world, but don't worry we've got all the tips for the hottest place to go to!
Next stop, Niseko in Hokkaido. This is the powder capital of the world. This place gets so more snow than 90% of other ski resorts! There are tons of restaurants, saki bars, and local places we will be exploring in this town!
Yes, on the daily to clean you filthy animals up!
All meals are included except for 1 dinner in town. Alcohol is semi-provided, meaning first rounds, and maybe occasional shots to warm up the party.
Many local foods in the town of Niseko are best-enjoyed post-winter activities! From Wagu beef to Makkari pork, all washed down with the famous local Niseko Sake. Because of its lush natural surroundings and pristine water, Niseko's local sake is also immensely drinkable.
This trip is for intermediate and advanced skiers only. Our goal is to stay together and crush the unreal majestic slopes of Hokkaido and not just the bunny slopes. We will be dividing into two groups, one more advanced and one more intermediate and explore the vast landscapes!
Intermediate means you can go down on groomed slopes of moderate difficulty, such as blue runs. You should be able to control your speed speed and direction by making parallel turns, and can adapt to different snow conditions and terrain features.
All levels are welcome. We will divide into beginner, soft intermediate, hard intermediate, and advanced groups. Recommend some experience as this is a proper mountain, not a bunny hill.
Up to you. If you have equipment, please feel free to bring it. If not, we will be renting from a local shop. They can provide any and all equipment needed for skiing or snowboarding.
Yes, we've got a ski room!
Yes it will! That is one of the reasons we chose this mountain, because so many of you want to give it a rip! If you do not need our lift tickets we offer a $200 discount. Please use this code at check-out: MYOWNPASS
Anyone using this pass will not be provided lift tickets and will need to purchase it themselves.
*Only valid at check-out and cannot be redeemed after purchase.
It's actually super convenient as our hotel is walking distance to the lifts!
No need to whip out your phone or camera at any point throughout this trip because we have got you covered. We will have a professional photographer and videographer joining us on this trip to capture every moment. These will be the best travel photos and videos you will ever get - you're friends better be ready for a photo dump out of their wildest dreams!!
This experience is included in trip fees.
This is mandatory. You need to have this to join our trip!
Japan is very safe for tourists. There is a very low crime, especially in the places we are visiting. However, we suggest leaving all important items in the safe while we are out exploring - but maybe keep your Yeezys and nice jewelry at home!
With a trip of this nature, skiing can be dangerous. Make sure you feel comfortable on skis!
The local currency in Japan is the yen. However, most establishments do accept credit cards.
We suggest bringing about ¥60,000 (around $400) to use at bars and at your one dinner not included. Feel free to bring more if you're worried about running out, but otherwise, we've got you covered!
There are ATMs in the town of Niseko, but we urge you to prepare and withdraw cash before the start of the trip!
Tap water is safe to drink, but it is heavily chlorinated. Often, it is suggested to drink filtered or mineral water. However, this is pure preference!
This is a Japanese adventure, not a luxury retreat or a yoga escape. Our accommodations are clean, cozy, and perfectly situated to immerse you in the beauty of Japan’s landscapes and traditions. From bustling cities to serene mountain towns, the charm of this journey lies in its mix of adventure and cultural discovery.
You can expect morning workouts with breathtaking mountain views, fitness games, and stretching sessions to keep you energized. Days will be filled with unique activities like learning the art of sushi-making in Tokyo or hitting the powdery slopes of Hokkaido for exhilarating ski adventures.
Evenings are about connecting and unwinding with the group. Enjoy big dinners of authentic Japanese cuisine, then dive into Japan’s vibrant nightlife. Think cozy izakayas, lantern-lit sake bars, and maybe even a little karaoke to end the night on a high note.
Of course, you’re welcome to take it at your own pace. Skip a workout, relax at the accommodations, or savor a quiet moment with a hot cup of tea while soaking in the scenery.
With an open mind and a love for adventure, you’re set to experience the magic of Japan like never before!
