Puerto Escondido is a charming coastal town in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, famed for its stunning beaches, world-class surfing, and vibrant nightlife.
Known as the "Hidden Port," Puerto Escondido sits on Mexico's Pacific coast and is divided into several districts, each with its distinct character.
Playa Zicatela is the town's most famous area and is globally renowned as a premier surfing destination. It is particularly known for the Mexican Pipeline, a massive wave that draws in expert surfers from around the world. Playa Zicatela is also dotted with lively restaurants, bars, and clubs, creating an energetic nightlife scene.
We'll be just 15 minutes south of Playa Zicatela, in a region called Laguna Encantada.
We recommend flying into Mexico City for our Gala which is the weekend before on October 21. The reason is because flights from Mexico City to Puerto Escondido are very easy and abundant and most of all cheap!
If you're coming in from outside the US, please try to fly into Puerto Escondido by 2pm. That is when our shuttle will make rounds, find everyone thats arrived and take them to our sexy villas.
We've got the perfect villas for our group. We are about 15 minutes away from the bustling town of Escondido leaving the beach in front of our property secluded. This property has long lap pool for all the swimmers, a big area for our dinners and a rooftop where we'll throw our themed parties.
We will have a shuttle for airport pick ups and drop offs, and excursions into town also. We can even help arrange your private transfers with our trusted partners if needed.

Every day we'll clean up after you...so feel free to enjoy yourself while on vacation!
We've got a chef and a bartender to cater just to us in our villas! Enjoy all the beverages you want at home for free! Specifically we will provide all breakfasts and all but two dinners for the trip, but a few lunches won't be as we'll be exploring the town and local areas. So these days, it's up to what you're craving!
Alcohol is not included at restaurants outside the hotel, but impress your new friends and get bottle service for all!!
Zicatela is know as the Pipeline of Mexico, this means there are sometimes huge waves that are only suitable for professionals. Lucky you there are plenty of beaches, and we'll be going to the beginner ones! We will provide two or three surf lessons for you to ride your first wave, or if you're a pro, perfect your form! With world-famous waves, you'll be eager to dip your toes in the water daily!

After a late night, you may not want to wake up and join us for a workout, but we highly suggest it! Included in your trip, the boot camps and yoga sessions keep us energized - there is nothing better than waking up and sweating with your new friends! No need to whip out your phone or camera at any point throughout this trip because we have got you covered. We will have a professional photographer and videographer joining us on this trip to capture every moment. These will be the best travel photos and videos you will ever get - you're friends better be ready for a photo dump out of their wildest dreams!!

We'll be doing some adventures throughout this trip that require a bit of self-awareness of the surrounding area. Remember, this is the jungle.
Dehydration is a common cause of feeling unwell. We require everyone to bring their own refillable water bottle and drink lots of water.
Avoid drinking too much alcohol. Of course, you will want to enjoy a few beers and try some of the local rum around the first night. However, don't make yourself a liability. Nobody wants to have to look after a drunk person. Tropical hangovers are a nightmare, and you don't want to miss out on daily activities if you are trying to recover from the night before!
Your skin will burn easily in the tropics, and especially ya'll winter hibernating New Yorkers. So get the proper gear and protection!
Puerto Escondido is one of the safest regions to visit in Latin America. However, there are risks of petty crime and pickpockets - we suggest not carrying all your valuables with you.
Our accommodations will have safes for us to leave our valuables in, and we suggest leaving all important items in the safe while we are out exploring - but maybe keep your Yeezys and nice jewelry at home!

This is a third-world country, and the sewage is not the same as in the US. There are waste baskets next to the bathrooms. Please use those.
This is a tropical beach adventure, not a yoga retreat or luxury travel experience. But our property is very beautiful with very comfortable and clean rooms. Of course, as we're in the middle of the jungle, you'll have to watch for bugs and spiders. But, as long as you keep the doors shut, you should be good.
You can expect morning workouts, sunset yoga, beach run-throughs, and fitness games almost every day. We'll be pairing that with big group dinners, nights out in the town, and lots of dancing! But, of course, you can always take it at your own pace, skip workouts or adventures and stay back at the house.
We believe you can easily handle this adventure if you have an open mind and a sense of adventure!
The Peso is Mexico's currency. However, most establishments accept USD.
We suggest bringing about $300 to $400 to use at bars and a few of our dinners, but otherwise, we've got you covered! For reference, prices of alcoholic drinks range from $6 - $12 USD.
Puerto Escondido has a few ATMs, and most establishments will charge a 5-6% extra charge for car payments, so remember to withdraw your cash in your home country!
