We start with one night in a hotel in Coron, with air conditioning and a hot shower. Then it is five nights of private beach camps as we island hop west through Palawan (the exact camps and running order can shift with the weather).

A team goes ahead of us and sets each camp up before the boat lands: a proper mattress, clean sheets, pillows and a mosquito net, with doors that open straight onto the water. A private chef cooks on the beach three times a day, one camp has a resident massage team with your 60 minutes included, and there are no day trippers and no other boats. Off the grid does not mean roughing it.
