This is Ireland the SYB way. We kick off in Dublin, flowing through yoga at the Guinness Brewery before diving into the city’s buzzing pub scene.
From there, we head to Killarney, where lakes, waterfalls, and castles set the stage for adventure. If weather allows, we’ll summit Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s tallest peak, a hike that has gone down in SYB legend.
Next up, we trade mountains for the coast with a bootcamp on Inch Beach, surfing the North Atlantic, and the colorful pubs of Dingle. No Irish trip is complete without standing on the edge of the Cliffs of Moher, soaking in views that feel like the edge of the world.
We finish strong in Galway, with a theme night out, our own SYB triathlon, and a day at the famous horse races. Think live music, endless laughs, and pints raised with your new crew.
From summits to surf, from castles to cobblestones, this trip blends adventure, culture, and nightlife into one unforgettable week.
Plan to fly into Dublin International Airport (DUB) and arrive in time for our 12pm SYB bus on day one. If your flight arrives earlier, you can hang in Dublin until it’s time to meet the crew. If you arrive later, you’ll need to make your own way to the hotel.
Important: This trip ends in Galway. We recommend booking your flight home from Shannon Airport (SNN), which is about an hour from Galway. Hotel check-out is 10:30am, and transportation to the airport is not included on departure day.

Ireland boasts a reputation for being one of the safest and friendliest destinations globally. With low crime rates, travelers often feel secure exploring its cities, towns, and natural wonders. However, to ensure a worry-free experience, it's advisable to leave valuable items, important documents, and large sums of money secured at your accommodations when venturing out.
This is a trail hiking and running trip and we do encourage most guests to be enthusiastic about that first and foremost. This is ALL LEVELS, so as long as you're enthusiastic, you're in the right place. Also after a late night, you may not want to wake up and join us for a workout, but we highly suggest it! Included in your trip, the runs, boot camps and yoga sessions keep us energized; there is nothing better than waking up and sweating with your new friends! Our world-class trip leaders know how to start your day the best way, with a good workout to prime us for a day of adventuring.
This trip focuses on hiking & running. Be aware that you should feel comfortable with these activities if you plan on joining this trip.
We will mix in workouts throughout the week, but the main focus is on stretching and yoga to keep your body loose and ready for the hikes. These sessions are all about recovery, mobility, and making sure your legs feel fresh for the trails.
When we do fire up a workout, expect fun group fitness like boot camps or high-energy circuits that get everyone moving together. There is nothing better than flowing through yoga at sunrise, shaking out the soreness, and priming your body with your new SYB crew before a big day of adventure.
The official currency of Ireland is the Euro (€). While the Euro is widely accepted, especially in tourist areas, many establishments also accept major currencies such as US Dollars (USD) and British Pounds (GBP). However, it's advisable to carry Euros for convenience, particularly when venturing into more rural or less touristy areas.
Ireland, like many modern societies, extensively uses credit and debit cards for transactions. Inform your bank about your travel plans to ensure seamless card usage abroad. Nevertheless, having about €200 to €300 in cash in your home currency can be beneficial, especially for small purchases or in case of emergencies.
95% of drinking water in Ireland comes from springs, so it is one of the cleanest and most delicious waters to drink. The tap water is free of chlorine, calcium, and nitrate, so be prepared to love this water!
We highly recommend bringing a refillable water bottle so you can stay hydrated during hikes and cut down on single-use plastic.
Absolutely, and we actually recommend it. This trip is your chance to show up as your truest, most adventurous self. No baggage, no expectations, no old routines.
When you come solo, you open yourself up to deeper connections, new experiences, and a crew that becomes instant family.
We totally get that it can feel intimidating at first, but trust us, this is the best way to do it. Most of our guests come solo, and by day one, you won’t feel that way anymore.
No need to whip out your phone or camera at any point throughout this trip because we have got you covered. We will have a professional photographer and videographer joining us on this trip to capture every moment. These will be the best travel photos and videos you will ever get - you're friends better be ready for a photo dump out of their wildest dreams!!
This experience is included in trip fees.
This is an Irish adventure, not a yoga retreat or luxury getaway. Our hotels are cozy, comfortable, and the perfect base for exploring Ireland’s wild landscapes, vibrant towns, and legendary pub culture. Expect rugged charm, good vibes, and plenty of fun.
We’ll mix in workouts, sunset yoga, and fitness games, along with hikes around Ross Castle and a beach bootcamp on Inch Beach. Pair that with pub crawls in Dingle, theme nights in Galway, and cozy dinners with the crew, and you’ll see why this trip is as much about connection as it is about adventure.
You can always take it at your own pace. Skip a session, relax at the hotel, or wander on your own. With an open mind and a spirit for adventure, Ireland will leave you with stories, laughter, and friendships to last a lifetime. Sláinte!
