The questions that come up before every single trip.
How do I pick the right SurfYogaBeer trip?
Start with what you want your days to look like. Surf and yoga weeks in Nicaragua and Bali, island hopping in Croatia, hiking in the Dolomites, ski weeks in the Alps, sailing in Turkey, safari in Kenya. The quiz narrows it in about 60 seconds, or the calendar shows every live date.
Do I have to come with someone?
No. Most people book alone and get matched into a shared room with someone of the same gender and similar age. Arriving solo is the norm, not the exception.
What is the average age on a trip?
About 34. Most guests are between 28 and 42, with a regular showing in the 40s and 50s. The minimum age is 21 and there is no upper limit.
How big are the groups?
Roughly 18 to 45 people depending on the trip. Big enough that you will find your people, small enough that you will know everyone by the end of the week.
How does booking and cancelling work?
A 20 percent deposit holds your spot and the balance is due 6 weeks before departure. Cancel more than 45 days out and it converts to trip credit. Inside 45 days the deposit is forfeited.
Do I need to be fit or know how to surf?
No to both. Every activity scales to the group and the morning workout is always optional. Most people trying surf, ski or a long hike on a SurfYogaBeer trip are doing it for the first time.
Still Not Sure? Let the Quiz Decide.
Answer a few quick questions and we'll match you with the SYB trip that fits your vibe. Surf, ski, sail, or full send.
