Top 3 iconic moments

Three things you will do on this trip that you will still be talking about years later.

01SurfYogaBeer group on a sunrise hot air balloon flight over Luxor, EgyptSunrise balloon over Luxor

You are up before the city is. The burner fires, the ground drops away, and the Nile, the temples and the Valley of the Kings all light up at once. Nobody talks much up there, which tells you everything.

02Kitesurfers on a turquoise Red Sea lagoon in EgyptKitesurfing the Red Sea

Waist deep water for as far as you can walk, steady wind, and instructors who get first timers up fast. You will crash, you will laugh, and then you will get a proper ride and hear the whole boat lose it.

03SurfYogaBeer scuba divers in the Red Sea, EgyptDiving the Red Sea

Coral gardens, a wreck or two, and visibility that makes it feel like flying. Certified or brand new, you go down with the crew and come up talking over each other about what you just saw.

📅 The Day By Day

Ten days, planned so you never have to think about it.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 1
Day 1Luxor arrival

Land in Luxor by 2pm, group transfer, and the first dinner together.

The full day

Land in Luxor by 2 PM and meet the crew at the airport for our group transfer. A short ride brings us to Jolie Ville Resort, a five star hideaway on its own island in the Nile with palm trees, pools, and sweeping river views. We kick things off with a light workout to shake off the travel, then circle up for orientation. As the sun sets, we share our first dinner by the water. It is the moment strangers turn into teammates and the adventure begins.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 2
Day 2Hot air balloons

Up before sunrise, into the basket, over the Valley of the Kings.

The full day

Wake up early because we are going straight into one of the most epic moments of the trip. Sunrise in a hot air balloon floating over the Nile, the desert, and Valley of the Kings below. It is unreal, and yes, the photos will be insane. We keep the momentum going with a deep dive into ancient Egypt. Walk inside the tomb of King Tut. Climb the steps of the Temple of Hatshepsut. Stand next to statues that have been around longer than anything you have ever seen. By sunset we are at Karnak Temple (just saying that Karnak is more impressive than the pyramids, yep...), surrounded by giant stone columns as the sky fades to orange. It is a full day of “did that really just happen” moments. We finish back at our five star Nile resort for dinner and much needed rest before tomorrow’s adventure.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 3
Day 3From sand to sea

Five hours across the desert, ATVs on the way, then onto the yacht.

The full day

Sleep in a bit because the next chapter starts today. We cross the desert on a five hour ride to the Red Sea, but this is not just a transfer. Halfway through we stop to rip ATVs and buggies across the sand. Dust flying, adrenaline pumping, history lessons officially behind us. By afternoon we roll into Hurghada marina where our private yacht is waiting. This is home for the week. The second you step on deck the vibe shifts. Ocean air, crew introductions, bags down, drinks up. Dinner is on board as we set off into the Red Sea with the people who will be your team for the adventure ahead.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 4
Day 4Kitesurfing day one

First lessons at Abu Mungar, a sandbar with calm turquoise on all sides.

The full day

This is the first of three days dedicated to learning how to kitesurf. We start at Abu Mungar, a sandbar surrounded by calm turquoise water that is perfect for beginners. Coaches walk you through the basics and get you into your first session on the kite. After breakfast there is a second chance to get back out, and after lunch an optional third session for those who want the most water time. Between lessons you can relax on deck, swim, or just enjoy the sun. All meals are on board with the chef keeping you fueled throughout the day.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 5
Day 5Kitesurfing day two

Tawila Island, shallow lagoons, and a lot more time on the board.

The full day

We cruise early to Tawila Island, one of the best kitesurfing spots in the Red Sea. Shallow turquoise lagoons and open water stretch forever, giving space for every level. Today you can get up to three kitesurfing lessons with our coaches. Between sessions jump in to snorkel the reef, grab a wakeboard session, or just float in the turquoise water. Meals are served on deck with plenty of time to reset before the next round. When night falls the real magic begins. With no light pollution the stars are blazing overhead, and it becomes the backdrop for our first theme party of the trip. Expect costumes, music, and the kind of night people will be talking about long after the sails come down.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 6
Day 6Kitesurfing day three

Lock in everything you learned, then the last ride of the week.

The full day

Our final day with the kites is about locking in everything you have learned. We start with a group stretch and get into the water before breakfast, then go again after breakfast, and once more after lunch. That is up to three sessions to ride, practice, and push your skills. By afternoon we lift anchor and begin cruising toward the next islands. The focus shifts from kitesurfing to diving, and the energy builds as we get ready to explore the Red Sea below the surface.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 7
Day 7Scuba diving day one

Breakfast, then your first descent into the coral gardens.

The full day

This is day one of your scuba journey, whether you are working toward your intro certification or just here to dive. After breakfast our dive master sets you up with gear and a safety briefing before dropping into Abu Nuhas, the Ship Graveyard. We explore the wrecks of the Giannis D and the Carnatic, both shallow, approachable, and alive with coral and schools of fish. In the afternoon we move to Siyoul Kebir, a reef of bright coral gardens and clownfish darting in and out of anemones. Turtles are often spotted here, and if the crew still has energy, Siyoul is also perfect for a night dive. Octopus, lionfish, and Spanish dancers bring the reef to life after dark.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 8
Day 8Scuba diving day two

Morning dives on the Chrisoula K and Kimon M wrecks.

The full day

Morning dives at Abu Nuhas on the Chrisoula K and Kimon M wrecks. Afternoon dive at Shaab El Erg, also known as Dolphin House. Expect to swim with dolphins, life goals right here. Outside the water we keep it SYB with workouts, stretching, games, and a BBQ dinner on deck.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 9
Day 9Scuba diving day three

Last dives, then the All White yacht party under desert stars.

The full day

Our final dives are at Umm Gamar and Abu Kafan. Towering walls, swim-throughs, eagle rays, schools of snapper, and endless reef life. The kind of dives that stay with you long after the trip ends. By sunset we are back in Hurghada port. If you need to fly out tonight you can, otherwise stay with the crew for one last night on board. The evening is all about celebrating. Floaties in the water, wakeboards flying, maybe a last workout if the crew is moving. Then we close with the All White Party. Everyone dressed in white, music on, stars overhead, and the Red Sea glowing around us. The send-off this week deserves.

SurfYogaBeer Egypt day 10
Day 10Departure day

Final breakfast on board, transfer to the airport, group chat forever.

The full day

We share one last breakfast together before checkout around 10 AM. Transfers to Hurghada Airport are arranged from the port. If you prefer, you can also fly out the night before since we are already back in Hurghada by sunset on Day 9. This may be departure day but it does not feel like the end. The workouts, the kiting, the dives, and the parties live on through the friendships you leave with. That is the real heart of SYB.

Every day is optional. Do all of it, or sleep in and meet us at lunch.

FAQs

Because this is not how most people experience Egypt.

You start in Luxor, walking through temples, tombs, and the Valley of the Kings, places that have been standing for thousands of years. Then the trip shifts completely.

You cross the desert and step onto a private yacht in the Red Sea, where the second half becomes all water, kitesurfing, diving, swimming, and living on the boat with the crew.

It’s history and adventure in the same trip, and the contrast is what makes it hit.

Yes, and most people do.

This trip brings people together quickly. You’re sharing big experiences from day one, temples, desert rides, boat life, and full days on the water.

By the time you’re on the yacht, it feels like a tight group.

People who want something different and are up for it.

Typically:

  • Late 20s to early 40s (sometimes even 50s)
  • Active and open to new experiences
  • Into both adventure and culture

You don’t need experience with kitesurfing or diving, but you should be excited to try new things.

Yes.

You’ll be:

  • Exploring temples and historical sites
  • Riding ATVs through the desert
  • Kitesurfing, diving, swimming, and wakeboarding
  • Staying active with workouts throughout the trip

It’s one of the more active and full trips we run.

Big, social, and a little wild in the best way.

The first part feels cultural and immersive. The second part, once you’re on the yacht, becomes more free-flowing, water, sun, music, and nights under the stars.

It’s one of the most energetic and memorable trips we have.

You move through two main environments:

  • Luxor for temples, tombs, and ancient Egypt
  • The Red Sea (Hurghada region) for yacht life, water sports, and island hopping

It’s a land-to-sea journey, which is what makes the trip feel so complete.

With us, it is.

We work with trusted local partners, guides, and crew throughout the trip, and everything is organized in advance, including private transport, a five-star resort, and a private yacht.

You’re never navigating anything on your own.

Yes.

We have a photographer and videographer on the trip, so you can stay present and still come away with great content from the week.

If you like the idea of:

  • Experiencing ancient history up close
  • Being active and trying new things
  • Living on a boat for part of the trip
  • A social, high-energy group

Then yes.

If you’re looking for something slower or less active, this may not be the best fit.
