Top 3 iconic moments

Three things you will do on this trip that you will still be talking about years later.

01SurfYogaBeer guests on a jet ski in a Turkish Riviera bayPlaytime in the bay

When we anchor in a secluded cove it turns into a watersports playground. Wakeboards, water skis, paddleboards and jet skis all come out, and it does not matter whether you have done it before. The backdrop makes everyone look good.

02SurfYogaBeer crew hiking above a bay on the Turkish coastSunset at the fortress

We dock in Bozukkale and hike up to Loryma Fortress, a 4th century BC ruin looking straight out over the sea. The trail runs past broken stone and scrub and ends in a view that shuts everyone up. Drinks at the top, sun going down, probably a workout too.

03Beach club bar on the Turkish Riviera at D Maris BayD Maris Bay

This is the glam day. D Maris Bay is the party playground of the Turkish Riviera, all mega yachts, beach beats and bottle service. We roll up by gulet, step into a scene borrowed from Mykonos and turn heads while turning up.

📅 The day by day

Eight days. Every single one of them optional.

Day 1Marmaris to Kumlubuk

Board the gulet, find our first bay, BBQ under the stars.

The full day

Get to the port of Marmaris before 3pm and check in with the SYB team. Orientation, a quick safety briefing, then we hit the water and go find our first bay. This is where you jump into the crystal clear stuff while the chef gets the BBQ going. Wait until the stars come out and the red wine stops running out.

Day 2Kumlubuk to Bozburun

Morning swim, coffee, workout, then a hike and a sail.

The full day

Every morning starts the same way. Jump into the warm calm water, grab a coffee, do a workout on deck or on shore, then a big group breakfast. We explore wherever we have anchored with a hike, then back on board for lunch while we sail to the next bay.

Goat beside ancient ruins on Kameriye Island, Turkey
Day 3Bozburun to Selimiye

Goat island, a Roman church from 500 AD, and the best view of the week.

The full day

Today we head for the Bay of Sands, the longest beach on the peninsula, and you find out Turkey can give Greek water a run for its money. Then our favourite goat island, Kameriye. Friendly goats, an open roofed Roman church from 500 AD and a hike to the top for one of the best views of the whole trip. Then wine, a wander around Selimiye and a family dinner on board.

Day 4Selimiye to D Maris Bay

Four days of quiet, then Mykonos style day clubbing.

The full day

After four days of peace and quiet it is time for some noise. Usual SYB morning bootcamp, then anyone who wants to can join us at D Maris Bay. Live music, a DJ, watersports and a scene that belongs on another island entirely. We head back to the boat whenever the group decides it has had enough.

Day 5D Maris Bay to Datca

The prettiest stretch of coast, and the best shavasana of the week.

The full day

This stretch is considered one of the most beautiful sections of the Turkish coast. Nature at its absolute best, and after a few days on the water the shavasanas hit differently. Once we reach Datca there is time to walk into town, grab gelato and pick up provisions.

Day 6Datca to Selimiye

Swim, sweat, hike to undiscovered ruins, repeat.

The full day

We take on the stops that made this coast famous as the Blue Cruise. Swimming in impossible water, breaking a sweat with your new best friends, hiking to the tops of ruins nobody has heard of. If you still have anything left after that, we will be doing our best to beat last night's wine and conversation.

Day 7Selimiye to Marmaris

Last day on the water, then the awards ceremony.

The full day

Water sports day. We stop at our friends' bay where the jet skis are ready if you want one last rip. It is the last day swimming in this ridiculous blue, so soak it up. We reach Marmaris just before sunset and grab a spot on the dock, then dinner on board, SYB games and the awards ceremony. Anyone still standing heads into town to see what this party town is about.

Day 8Departure day

Final breakfast, then the group chat takes over.

The full day

Seven days at sea and it is time to get off. Marmaris has the resorts and beaches if you want to stay on a while, and plenty of people do. Final breakfast together, then we go our separate ways. It is not goodbye, it is just the part before the group chat starts and never stops.

Every day is optional. Do all of it, or stay on deck and meet us for dinner.

FAQs

Because this is one of the easiest, most enjoyable ways to travel.

You’re not packing, unpacking, or moving between hotels. Your home is a private gulet, a fully staffed yacht that takes you from one beautiful bay to the next.

You wake up on the water, swim before breakfast, move a little, eat really well, and spend the day exploring hidden coves, small towns, and clear blue water.

It’s simple, it’s smooth, and it just feels good the entire time.

Yes, and most people do.

Living on a boat together naturally brings people close. You’re sharing meals, swims, workouts, and nights on deck.

It doesn’t take long before the group feels tight.

People who want to enjoy themselves.

Typically:

  • Late 20s to 40s (sometimes even 50s)
  • Active, but not looking to push hard
  • Social, but also appreciate downtime
  • Into good food, good views, and a good crew

It’s one of the more balanced groups.

Yes, but lightly.

You’ll have:

  • Morning workouts or yoga
  • Optional hikes to viewpoints and ruins
  • Swimming, paddleboarding, and water activities

But this is not a grind. You can easily take a day slow and just enjoy being on the boat.

Relaxed, social, and a bit elevated.

Days are slow in the best way. Swim, eat, move, repeat. Evenings are long dinners, drinks, music, and time together under the stars.

It’s one of the more “feel good” trips we run.

You’re sailing the Turkish Riviera, starting in Marmaris and moving through places like:

  • Bozburun
  • Selimiye
  • D Maris Day Club
  • Datça
  • Hidden bays and islands along the coast

Every day is a new stop, new swim, and new setting, without ever changing rooms.

With us, it is.

We work with experienced local crews who know these waters extremely well, and everything is planned in advance.

The Turkish Riviera is a well-traveled and welcoming region, especially along the coast where this trip takes place.

Yes.

We have a photographer and videographer on the trip, so you can stay present and still come away with great content from the week.

If you like the idea of:

  • Waking up on the water
  • Swimming multiple times a day
  • Good food, drinks, and long dinners
  • A social but relaxed group
  • A more elevated, comfortable experience

Then yes.

If you’re looking for something fast-paced or highly structured, this may not be the best fit.
