We kick things off in Marrakech, where every street somehow feels louder, busier, and more exciting than the last. Think rooftop mint teas, hidden alleyways in the Medina, scooters flying past you at questionable speeds, and the kind of energy that makes you instantly feel like you’re very far from home in the best way possible.
After settling into our riad, we’ll get the crew together for workouts, rooftop dinners, wandering through the souks, shopping missions you definitely didn’t budget for, and one of the wildest welcome dinners on the SYB calendar. We’ll explore the city with a local guide, hit the Secret Garden, and wake up before sunrise for a hot air balloon ride over Morocco before heading toward the coast.
Then the trip shifts gears completely.
We head to Taghazout, Morocco’s laid-back surf town where life slows down just enough for everyone to finally exhale. Surf lessons, beach workouts, yoga sessions, dune boarding, ATV rides through the dunes, camel rides at sunset, pool hangs, oceanfront cafés, and nights that somehow turn into hours-long conversations with the crew.
This trip is active, social, adventurous, and ridiculously fun. Equal parts surf camp, cultural adventure, and adult summer camp with a group of people you’ll probably still be talking to long after the trip ends.
Fly into Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) and fly out of Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA). Please arrive in Marrakech before 1 pm to join our SYB shuttle to the hotel. On the last day, we recommend booking a flight that departs from Agadir (AGA) after 10am.
We cover all group transportation for the week, including airport transfers (unless outside our timeframe), comfortable rides between Marrakech, the Agafay Desert, and Taghazout.

We’re starting in Marrakech, where the streets feel like organized madness in the best possible way. Think rooftop dinners, mint tea, hidden alleyways, shopping in the Medina, rooftop sunsets, and enough colors, sounds, and energy to make your brain feel fully awake again. We’ll explore the city with a local guide, wander through the Secret Garden, and float over Morocco in a sunrise hot air balloon before heading toward the coast.
Then we head to Taghazout, Morocco’s laid-back surf town sitting right on the Atlantic Ocean. This is where the trip really starts to click. Surf lessons, beach workouts, yoga sessions, ATV rides through the dunes, camel rides at sunset, oceanfront cafés, pool hangs, and nights with the crew that somehow go way later than planned.
The best part is the balance. One minute you’re getting lost in the Medina, the next you’re barefoot at a beach café watching the sun disappear into the ocean.
And yes, every place we stay is handpicked. Boutique riads in Marrakech, beachside stays in Taghazout, pools, spas, good food, good views, and the kind of hotels that make you want to extend your flight home.
Start: Marrakech on May 2, 2026
End: Taghazout, Agadir on May 8, 2026.
It is important to note that this trip starts and ends at different airports.
Plan to arrive in Marrakech before 1 pm our pickup, and book your flight home from Agadir after 10 am on the final day so you can enjoy your last morning in paradise.
All breakfasts are included, and all dinners except for one. Everyone has slightly different tastes and dining styles when it comes to cuisine, so we give you an opportunity to explore and make a reservation at a restaurant of your choice! Dinner on your own will be at our third destination in Taghazout.
Lunches are not included, again, giving you the chance to try different cafes, street food, and local spots during the day.
Moroccan food is full of flavor, with dishes like tagines, couscous, grilled meats, fresh breads, and vibrant salads. Expect plenty of spice, fresh vegetables, and slow-cooked goodness.
Alcohol is not included, but there will be plenty of chances to enjoy drinks at rooftop bars, by the pool, or with a sunset view.
We will be staying at 4 star hotels in each destination each handpicked for comfort, style, location, and all with pools.
You’ll have the chance to enjoy spa services at our hotels in both Marrakech and Taghazout. Start the week by unwinding after your long flight with an incredible Hammam experience in the Medina; perfect for easing into the adventure ahead. To close it all out, our final hotel features a beautiful spa where you can relax and soak up every last moment of the journey.
Spa treatments are not included in the trip price.
Yes - every day! Our team comes through to keep your space fresh so you can just focus on the fun.
No experience needed, our local instructors in Taghazout will take you from your first paddle to catching your first wave. Already surfed before? They’ll help you level up your skills. With all equipment provided, you can spend as much (or as little) time in the water as you’d like.
You will ride ATVs twice on this trip, once in the Agafay Desert and once along the coast in Taghazout. You can choose to ride your own ATV or hop in a side-by-side with another person. No prior experience is needed, and our local guides along with SYB leaders will be with you the entire time for safety. Helmets are provided, and you will be riding in guided groups over scenic trails, dunes, and coastal paths. Just bring closed-toe shoes and a sense of adventure.
We’ll kick off the day at the iconic Yves Saint Laurent Gardens, where our photographer will lead an epic shoot among the lush pathways and the striking cobalt-blue villa, so you’ll have shots worthy of your feed right from the start.
From there, we’ll dive into the vibrant Marrakech Medina with a local guide, winding through narrow alleyways lined with spice stalls, artisan shops, colorful fabrics, and street food vendors. Our SYB leaders will be alongside you to point out hidden gems, keep things moving, and make sure there’s plenty of time for photos, shopping, and sampling local treats.
We will take to the skies over Marrakech for a sunrise hot air balloon ride. This peaceful flight gives you sweeping views of the city, the surrounding desert, and the Atlas Mountains as the morning light transforms the landscape. Breakfast is included after the flight, making it one of the most unforgettable mornings of the trip.
We will ride camels in the Agafay Desert as the sun sets over the dunes. This is a relaxed ride at a gentle pace, perfect for soaking in the scenery and grabbing those iconic Morocco photos.
After a late night you may not want to wake up and join us for a workout, but we highly suggest it. Included in your trip, the bootcamps and yoga sessions keep us energized and ready for the day. There is nothing better than waking up and sweating with your new friends. Our world-class trip leaders know how to start the day right with a workout that primes us for a full day of adventuring.
We travel with experienced SYB leaders and trusted local guides who know every area inside and out. Our routes are well-traveled, our activities vetted, and our accommodations handpicked. While Morocco is generally safe for travelers, we recommend keeping valuables secure, staying aware in busy areas, and following the guidance of our team. With transportation, activities, and lodging arranged with your safety in mind, you can relax and focus on the adventure.
The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Cash is king in markets, small shops, and for tipping, so we recommend bringing some or withdrawing from ATMs once you arrive. We suggest budgeting $300 to $400 for bars and a few meals out -otherwise, we’ve got you covered.
ATMs are widely available in Morocco, but we recommend withdrawing money in your home country to avoid international withdrawal fees. Major credit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and larger stores.
Tap water in Morocco isn’t recommended for drinking, so we stick to bottled or filtered water throughout the trip. Safe drinking water will always be available at our hotels, desert camp, and during activities. Bottled water is inexpensive and easy to find in shops and cafés.
We also suggest bringing a reusable water bottle so you can refill as needed and stay hydrated during workouts, desert adventures, and surf sessions.
Absolutely, and we actually recommend it. This trip is your chance to show up as your truest, most adventurous self. No baggage, no expectations, no old routines. When you come solo, you open yourself up to deeper connections, new experiences, and a crew that becomes instant family.
We totally get that it can feel intimidating at first, but trust us, this is the best way to do it. Most of our guests come solo, and by day one, you will not feel that way anymore.
Yes. You can leave your phone in your bag and stay present while a professional photographer capture every moment. From sunrise workouts to beach adventures and late-night laughs, you’ll get high-quality content without lifting a finger.
And yes, it’s all included in your trip. Your post-trip photo dump is going to break the group chat.
This trip is for people who want more than just a vacation.
It’s for the people who say yes to random adventures, stay out longer than planned with the group, accidentally make best friends on day two, and come home with way too many stories and way too many photos on their camera roll.
Morocco is exciting, unpredictable, fast-paced, beautiful, overwhelming, relaxing, and ridiculously fun all at the same time. One day you’re getting lost through the Medina hunting for rugs and drinking mint tea on a rooftop. The next you’re surfing in Taghazout, riding ATVs through the dunes, doing beach workouts at sunset, and hanging with the crew by the pool until midnight.
This is an active and social trip, but it’s also very much your own experience. Do every workout or sleep in. Surf every day or spend an afternoon at a beach café. Go full adventure mode or take it slow and soak everything in.
The people who love this trip most usually come with an open mind, good energy, and a willingness to lean into the experience.
Come for Morocco. Leave with 30 new stories and a group chat that never shuts up afterward.
