A French Riviera Week

We’ve curated the best of the South of France with three iconic stops: Cassis, Verdon Gorge, and St Tropez, with a chic day in Aix-en-Provence in the middle. In Cassis, we hike the Calanques and spend a full day kayaking to hidden coves and little beaches, basically living in that turquoise water. Nights are harbor dinners, spritz hour, and postcard energy. Aix is your culture day for shopping, markets, cafés, and rosé in the sun. Then it’s the Verdon Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Europe, for unreal blue waters, crystal clear lakes, and even aqua rando'ing. We finish in St Tropez with countryside bike rides, rosé tastings, winery moments, beach days, and day clubs that start tasteful and end with everyone on tables dancing. Bonjour Cote d’Azur. Chic French Riviera done properly.

Trip Notes

Bonjour Cote d’ Azur is our newest trip. It’s a chic, high-energy take on the South of France, curated from the coast to the canyon to the Riviera finale in world-famous St Tropez.

We start in Cassis, a low key, super sexy seaside town with Calanques National Park right on our doorstep. We hike cliffs, work out with the bluest water as our backdrop, and spend a full day kayaking out to hidden coves and little beaches. Nights are all about the harbor, two group dinners on the waterfront, spritz hour, and lively Cassis energy.

We’ve added Aix-en-Provence because it’s not the South of France unless you do a proper culture day. You’ll have time to shop, wander the markets, post up at cafés, and people-watch among some of the most fashionable French crowds.

From there, we make our way by our SYB bus to the lavender fields, and yes, they’re as unreal as they look. Endless rows of purple stretching into the horizon, plus some of the best photos of the week because our photographer will be fully in their element.

Next, we head into the Verdon Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Europe, where the water cuts through towering limestone walls. This is the adventure chapter: lake time, swims, and an aqua rando day (basically rafting without a raft). Evenings are in Castellane, a tiny historic village where you can roam, grab drinks in the square, choose your own local dinner spot, and if you’re feeling bold, try the escargots.

We close in St Tropez, full Riviera mode. Countryside bike tour, winery yoga, rosé tasting, beach swims, and the infamous day club scene landing right on July 4th. Coincidence? We think not.

This one is going to be legendary.

We’re not providing airport transfers on this trip because there are a ton of flight options, arrival times, and routes into the South of France. You can fly into Marseille (MRS) or Nice (NCE), and either arrive a day early or fly in the day of. The only thing that matters is that you meet us in Cassis on the trip start date by 3:00pm for check-in. If you want help, we’ll happily connect you with trusted drivers and the easiest transfer options.

The trip finishes in St Tropez, and you can fly out of whichever airport works best for your route. Nice is usually a bit closer from St Tropez than Marseille. On departure day, we wrap the trip after breakfast, and you’re free to head out anytime.

Yes, travel and medical insurance is required. You must secure it before joining the program. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you accept full responsibility and agree to our cancellation policy.

To reserve your spot, a 20% deposit is required. This goes toward your total payment. The remaining balance is due six weeks before the program start date.

If you cancel more than 45 days before the program begins, you’ll receive trip credit that can be used toward any future SYB trip within 12 months.

If you cancel within 45 days, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions.

We do not offer refunds for any reason. Travel insurance helps protect your investment if anything unexpected happens. It’s worth it.

Bonjour Cote d’ Azur is a four-stop journey through the best of the South of France. We start in Cassis on the Mediterranean coast, spend a culture day in Aix-en-Provence, head inland to the Verdon Gorge and Castellane for canyon and lake adventures, and finish with the grand finale in St Tropez for full Riviera mode.

Our trip officially kicks off at 3:00 PM on June 29, 2026, when you’ll check into our hotel in Cassis.

We wrap up on the morning of July 5. From there, you’re free to head home or keep the adventure going in Europe. Expect big hugs, a few happy tears, and a mind full of new memories.

Breakfast is included every day. We also include 4 group dinners during the trip. Two dinners are not included, so you’ll have a couple nights to choose your own spot and explore the local restaurant scene. Lunch is not included, since most days are built around being out and about, and you can grab whatever you’re craving along the way. Drinks are not included.

This trip was scouted on the ground, and each hotel was handpicked as the right home base for its stop. In Cassis, we’re staying at Best Western Hôtel La Rade (3-star). In Verdon, we’ll be at Hôtel-du-Commerce-Verdon (3-star) in Castellane. And for the finale near St Tropez, we’re staying at Coq Hôtel (3-star).

Yes, daily.

We’ve got a crew coming through to clean up after you filthy animals so your space stays fresh, even if you don’t. 😎

Yes, it’s generally very safe, especially in the towns we’re basing ourselves in. Like any popular destination, the biggest thing to watch for is petty stuff like pickpocketing in busier areas, crowded markets, and nightlife zones. Keep an eye on your phone, don’t leave valuables unattended at the beach or in cafés, and you’ll be totally fine.

We’re moving as a group for the main activities, staying in reputable hotels, and sticking to well-traveled areas. Use normal city smarts, and you’ll feel comfortable the whole trip.

France uses the euro (€), and most places in the South of France take credit cards, especially in Cassis and St Tropez. Still, it’s smart to have some cash for smaller cafés, quick drinks, markets, tips, and those random “need it now” moments.

We recommend having about €300 for extra drinks, lunches, and souvenirs (more if you’re planning to go big in St Tropez). There are ATMs around, but it’s always nicer to arrive with a little cash already in your wallet, just in case.

Yes, tap water in France is generally safe to drink, and you’ll be totally fine filling up from the tap in our towns and hotels. That said, some people prefer bottled water because the mineral taste can be different than what you’re used to. If you’re picky, grab a big bottle at a grocery store on day one and keep it in your room, but you don’t need to stress about safety.

Absolutely, and we actually recommend it. This trip is your chance to show up as your truest, most adventurous self. No baggage, no expectations, no old routines.

When you come solo, you open yourself up to deeper connections, new experiences, and a crew that becomes instant family.

We totally get that it can feel intimidating at first, but trust us, this is the best way to do it. Most of our guests come solo, and by day one, you won’t feel that way anymore.

Yes. You can leave your phone in your bag and stay present while a professional photographer and videographer capture every moment. From sunrise workouts to beach adventures and late-night laughs, you’ll get high-quality content without lifting a finger.

And yes, it’s all included in your trip. Your post-trip photo dump is going to break the group chat.

This isn’t a quiet Provence getaway or a sit-by-the-pool-all-week kind of trip. This is the South of France, SYB style, a full-sensory mix of turquoise-water adventure, chic towns, canyon adrenaline, and a St Tropez finale that brings the heat.

You’ll stay in three handpicked hotels that keep us exactly where we want to be at each stop. They’re comfortable, well-located, and designed for the flow of the trip, not the “never leave the resort” experience. Think great bases, pool resets, and easy access to everything we’re doing.

Expect morning movement sessions, hikes in the Calanques, a full-day kayak mission to hidden coves, and an aqua randonnée day in Verdon that feels like a movie. Add culture days with shopping and rosé, countryside biking in Tropez, winery yoga, beach swims, and day clubs that start tasteful and end with everyone dancing.

Need a breather? Take it. Sleep in, skip a session, lounge by the pool, wander solo, or post up at a café with a book. No pressure, no judgment.

All you need is an open mind, good energy, and a willingness to say yes when the moment is calling.

This trip will hype you up, challenge you in the best ways, and leave you with a crew you’ll want to keep.
