arl night long
St. Anton am Arlberg. 300 kilometres of pistes, a crew that skis at your speed, and the loudest apres scene in the Alps waiting at the bottom of every run.
wait, what
is this exactly?
Fair question. Here is the short version. The whole crew posts up in one hotel in St. Anton am Arlberg, a village in the Tyrolean Alps that happens to sit at the bottom of Austria's largest connected ski area and also happens to be the place apres-ski was more or less invented. One base, 300 kilometres of piste out the door, and a week that does not really stop.
Mornings, you ski in a small group at your own level, led by your SYB crew. Afternoons, you go explore it. By four in the afternoon you are on a table at MooserWirt with 400 people and a very loud DJ. You do not need to be an expert. You need to be able to hold a red run and be up for the rest of it.

meet the mountain
Ski Arlberg is the biggest connected ski area in Austria and one of the largest anywhere: 300 kilometres of marked piste, 85 lifts, and terrain running from 1,304 up to 2,811 metres at the top of the Valluga. There is another 200 kilometres of off-piste on top of that, which is why this place has a reputation.
Mid-March is the sweet spot. You get the deepest snow of the season and daylight that stretches long into the afternoon, and because we go two weeks before Easter, you dodge the worst week of the year for lift queues. St. Anton is the loud end of it. Ski down, and MooserWirt, Krazy Kanguruh and Taps are all sitting right there on the run home.
but here is the
syb part
Plenty of people come to St. Anton. Most of them come with three mates from work, ski in a clump, and go home. Some book a ski school and never speak to anyone. Ours is neither.
This is SurfYogaBeer, so you get a crew. Small groups split by pace so nobody gets dragged or left behind, then the whole gang back together for the rest of it. Long dinners, spa and sauna to undo the damage, apres that gets completely out of hand, and the kind of week that turns a hotel full of strangers into a group chat that never goes quiet. You will come for the mountain. You will stay for the people.
the days look
something like this
ski your level
Small groups split by ability, led by your SYB crew who know the mountain. No queueing behind a class of eight-year-olds.
300km to explore
Afternoons are yours and the crew's. St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben and the rest of the Arlberg, all on one pass, all connected.
mooserwirt at four
The most famous apres bar on earth, sat right on the run back to town. Ski in, get on a table, do not ski out. Nobody skis out.
spa and sauna
Six days of skiing and apres does things to a body. Sauna, steam, and a pool to put you back together each evening. Genuinely not optional.
long dinners
The whole crew at one table every night. Alpine food that has no interest in your macros, too much wine, and nobody in a rush.
the crew
Come solo, leave with a family. Most people arrive on their own. By day two you have got people.
the rough
game plan
Six nights in the Arlberg, all from one hotel in the village. Here is roughly how the week tends to flow.
land and settle in
Get yourself to St. Anton from Zurich or Innsbruck, or roll in on the train straight to the village. Check in, get fitted for gear, then welcome drinks and a big first dinner to meet the crew.
first turns
Meet your crew, get sorted into your group, and spend the morning finding your legs. Afternoon is a proper look at the mountain. Then your first apres, which is when you understand what you have signed up for.
go big
Morning session with your group, then the crew goes exploring across the Arlberg. Long lunch on a sun terrace somewhere high up. MooserWirt on the way home.
the one where it clicks
By now you have found your rhythm and the mountain feels smaller. Ski harder, ski longer. Spa in the evening because your legs will be asking.
theme day
Full costume on the mountain, because we do this on every ski trip and it never gets old. Turn heads on every lift. Then a night out in the village that gets away from everyone.
last full send
The best day, every time. Everyone skis better than they did on Sunday, nobody wants it to end, and the last apres goes exactly how you would expect.
go home, sort of
Slow breakfast, big hugs, a few sore heads. Head home or keep going in Europe. The group chat starts before anyone lands.
A sample flow, not a fixed schedule. Snow, weather and the crew always get the final say.
what we're
planning to include
We are still finalising this with our partners in St. Anton, so treat the below as the shape of the trip rather than a signed contract. The waitlist gets the confirmed version first.

- Breakfast every day and most dinners
- 6-day Ski Arlberg lift pass
- Morning sessions in small groups by ability, led by your SYB crew
- Sauna, steam and pool access at the hotel
- Apres at MooserWirt, Krazy Kanguruh and the rest of them
- A theme ski day, because obviously
- Big group dinners
- SYB welcome package
- Photographer and videographer
- Services of your SYB leaders
Not included
- Flights (Zurich or Innsbruck)
- Airport transfers
- Ski and boot rental
- Alcohol
- Travel and medical insurance (required)
- Private room upgrade (optional)
you just show up
and send it
Everything is handled, planned, and led by people who do this for a living. You do not organize a thing. That is the whole point of an SYB trip, and it is what our people rave about most.
Full honesty: this one is fresh off the drawing board. The hotel, the price and the exact lineup are still being locked in with our partners in St. Anton. What is already certain is the mountain, the dates, and the kind of week only SurfYogaBeer would run there. Get on the list and you will be first to know when it drops.
be first
on the list
This is a small one. We are keeping it to around 20 people so it still feels like a crew, which means it will go fast. Get on the waitlist and you will hear it here first, before it goes out to anyone else.
No commitment. Just the first heads up when arl night long goes live for March 2027.
