Eat, Love, and Spritz through the Amalfi Coast
Eat, Love, and Spritz through the Amalfi Coast
Arrive at Naples airport by 1pm to make the SYB shuttle to our house for the week! We'll get to know each other, break out in a quick yoga session, jump in the sea, have a few drinks and a delicious dinner overlooking the sexy Amalfi Coast.
AMALFI | DUOMO | RAVELLO
From wake up calls (more on this later), straight into morning workouts, yoga cool down, a dip in the sea, and a hearty breakfast all before it's even 9am.
The SYB bus picks us up at 10am and we're off to visit the Duomo and shop in old Amalfi, explore gorgeous Ravello to eat lunch and then make our way back to our villa.
Sunset yoga on our deck, some pool action with pre-party drinks and then dinner will be in Marina del Cantone on the water with lots of wine! Where this night takes you is your story, but after all this is just day 1.
CAPRI BOAT DAY
Mornings are for the winners, after our workouts and breakfast we have a full day of boating around Capri, as well as have a chance to explore the island and all its luxury shops. We'll be free grab lunch at one of the excellent restaurants at the top of the mountain or at the marina overlooking the sea. And Gelato!!!
Upon return, we'll freshen up and have dinner at our place. Music, Limoncello, disco lights, and sexy all-white party will commence.
CHURCH HIKE / SECRET BEACH / POOL PARTY
We'll have our early morning bootcamp today by running & hiking to the top of Marina Del Cantone's hilltop church. This will be about 6 miles total and we'll be doing it early to watch the sunrise at the top...trust us this is perspective setting! We'll continue the day by exploring our local marina and rocky beach, and hike to Ristorante Conca Del Sogno - otherwise only accessible by boat, but we know some secret routes.
We'll end this day with a pool party and dinner at Gocci Di Capri, one of our favorite spots! The DJ is great, the drinks are strong, the food is fantastic and it's nearby...not to mention the views are incredible!
POMPEII / PIZZA MAKING PARTY
We begin this day with a TON of hydration (if you get our drift), because then we're doing a lot of cultural exploration. After our 'optional' workout and breakfast, we head to Pompeii for a rich historical and very funny tour by way of our incredible guide. Afterwards, we head to a winery at the base of Mount Vesuvius, where we'll have a tour and a chance to buy some of the best wine in this region, as well as eat pasta with ingredients that were made from the vineyard gardens. Mama Mia!!!
We'll let all that settle in, enjoy some free time back at our place and head out for our pizza making dinner party in Sorrento! Everyone will have a chance to create their own masterpiece and share them with the group!
One more chance to get the church by a brisk run/hike at 7am. Bootcamp after that at the top of the hill, then we head to Positano - by boat. #baller
We take our own time to explore Positano, no tour guide as it's small, charming and beyond beautiful. This is a great time to have some alone time or chill with your new besties (or go SUPing, if one is so inclined). Did we mention GELATO yet?!
We'll have our SYB awards ceremony and finish this adventure off the most beautiful way...just you wait and see!
BACK TO REALITY
Because we recommend taking the 9:55am nonstop United flight back to NYC we'll have set up an SYB bu to take everyone to the airport by 8am, so expect an early departure at 6:30am. Late check out is 10am.
Until next time... or until we throw our next party because this friendship just started!
CHECK OUT WHAT'S INCLUDED
Totally framing that 👆🏼🤓 To think that just a few days ago I was swimming in the Mediterranean... 🤤 Choosing to spontaneously book my trip to the Amalfi coast with @surfyogabeer was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only did we do really cool shit like wine tasting under olive trees in the shadow of Mt. Vesuvius, taking chair lifts to the top of Capri, hiking trails that led to hidden grottos with really good cappuccino, etc... but the people were just the kind of people you want to be around. Cool, positive and loving vibes all around. If you're thinking about doing an SYB trip, then make like me and DON'T THINK, JUST DO 😎
'Thankful to have spent the past two weeks in such an amazing place with some even more amazing people!'
'This trip is pure magic'
'One of my most cherished memories. We swan in a grotto in the Mediterranean (noodle and all!) I've never felt more connected to the Earth! Such a cool and life-changing experience.
"thank you for being here, for saying YES." / feeling so much gratitude for the past week and all the adventure, personal connections, magical seaside towns, and of course, the food. until next time, Italy 🙏🏻🥂✨
'Positanoly the most candid photo we've ever taken'
I've been sitting here trying to put into words what this trip has meant to me but nothing can do it justice. I told my friends I was "going to Italy with a "fitness/travel/party group. It could be awesome or it could suck, I'll let you know!". I have always dreamed of going to Italy and seeing the Amalfi Coast but nothing could prepare me for this. I pushed myself beyond my fears and limits, I hiked to one of the highest points in Amalfi and saw the breathtaking view, I swam in the Mediterranean ocean (with the a noodle, but I did it!), I swam in a cave and as hippy-dippy as it sounds, never felt more connected to Mother Earth. Thanks to the shitty wifi, I relied less on my phone and stayed more in the moment. So much is to be said about the company I was with. These people who a week ago were strangers but within days became dear friends. We had deep philosophical conversations and made poop jokes, we stayed up taking until 3 am, we laughed until we cried, we drank constantly and it was probably my most enjoyable hangovers. We were in our own world. Thank you @surfyogabeer for providing this outlet to bring likeminded individuals together and planning incredible adventures
Ciao for now, Italia! Forever grateful for the past 10 days. Thank you @surfyogabeer for a life-changing experience that will stay with me forever #SYBamalfi Roma - I'm coming back for you! ❤️🇮🇹💃🏼🍷💚

Touchdown at Naples International Airport (NAP) to begin our journey exploring the Amalfi Coast. The coastal town of Amalfi is set deep down between the cliffs on the coast. Famous for its cliffs, beaches and picturesque seaside towns, the stunning seaside of the Amalfi is filled with rich history and artistic value.
Amalfi Coast is home to Marina del Cantone. This south-facing pebble beach near the tip of the Sorrentine peninsula is located below the town of Nerano.
The Amalfi Coast has much to explore, like Capri, an island known for its natural beauty and magnificent rock formations. Only a short 30 minutes away on the water, the cliffside village of Positano boasts stunning pebbled shores and colorful cliffside villas. It also is home to hiking trails along the coastline, which is one of the best ways to experience the landscape.
Aside from the stunning coastal towns in the region, this area is home to a rich history. Pompeii, near the coast of the Bay of Naples, is an archaeological site. Visitors can freely explore the excavated ruins of streets and houses of what was once a sophisticated Roman city. In 79 A.D., Pompeii was buried under ash and pumice following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
Taking the Amalfi Coast by storm, this region is best known for its boat travel and beautiful landscapes.
The local currency in Italy is Euros. Italy does not accept international currency outside banks or money exchange institutions.
We suggest bringing about €300 to €400 to use at bars and a few of our dinners (bring more if you're worried about running out!), but otherwise, we've got you covered! For reference, the average price of an alcoholic drink is €14.
There are ATMs on the Amalfi Coast, but for the most part, they only offer Euros. If you are planning on using one, inform your bank that you are travelling abroad, and beware of additional fees for withdrawing money. We suggest withdrawing money in your home country!
The Amalfi Coast is incredibly safe for travellers! The only risks we may experience are pickpockets or scammers.
Our accommodations will have safes for us to leave our valuables in, and we suggest leaving all important items in the safe while we are out exploring - but maybe keep your Yeezys and nice jewelry at home!
