When is MLK weekend in 2027?

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is Monday, January 18, 2027. The long weekend runs Saturday, January 16 to Monday, January 18.

Does SYB run a ski trip over MLK weekend?

Yes. Ski Yoga Spritz is a group ski week in Chamonix, France from January 16 to 22, 2027. It starts on the Saturday of MLK weekend and runs six nights.

How many vacation days does it take?

Four, if you have MLK Day off: Tuesday, January 19 to Friday, January 22. The trip starts at 5pm on Saturday, January 16 in Chamonix, so most US travelers fly overnight on Friday, January 15. It ends on the morning of Friday, January 22.

How much does it cost?

From $2,750 per person in a shared room, or $3,950 for a large private room with its own bathroom, for 6 nights. Lift tickets for five ski days are in the price. Flights are extra. A 20% deposit holds your spot and the rest is due six weeks before the trip.

Which airport do I fly into?

Geneva (GVA). Airport transfers are not included, but bus services run from the airport straight to Chamonix. Be in Chamonix by 4pm on January 16.

Do I need to be a good skier?

No. The trip is for all levels, and we split into small groups by level and pace so you ski with people like you. Lessons and rentals are not included.

Are lift tickets and rentals included?

Lift tickets are: four days in the Chamonix valley and one day in Courmayeur, Italy. Rentals are not. There is a rental shop less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If you ski on your own Ikon Pass, the code MYOWNPASS takes $200 off, and lift tickets are then not provided.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Cancel more than 45 days before the trip starts and everything you have paid becomes trip credit, good toward any SYB trip within 12 months. Inside 45 days, payments are non-refundable. Travel and medical insurance is required.
