SurfYogaBeer (SYB) is a New York City based active & social travel company. We coined the term. Our trips blend fitness, adventure, and a very good time: surf weeks in Nicaragua, safaris in Kenya, sailing in Croatia, volcano hikes in Iceland, and more. Most guests show up completely alone and leave with real friends. Bootstrapped since day one, no investors.

The founder

Mantas Zvinas.

Mantas Zvinas started SurfYogaBeer in 2014 as a free Manhattan run club. He was a SoulCycle instructor with a simple theory: adults do not need more networking, they need more sweat, more adventure, and more nights that end in group dinners. The run club became weekend escapes, the escapes became international trips, and twelve years later SYB runs group adventures across five continents while staying proudly independent.

Mantas is available for interviews, podcasts, and expert commentary on solo travel, group travel, making friends as an adult, and building a bootstrapped travel brand. He answers fast.

The story of SYB is very simple; Surf is adventure, risk, adrenaline. Yoga is spirituality, a deeper perspective on the short amount of time we have on earth. And beer is our chance to enjoy and not take it too seriously.
