Where can I go for New Year's Eve if I am traveling solo?

SYB is hosting three group New Year's Eve trips for 2026 into 2027, all built for people coming on their own: Nicaragua (December 27 to January 2), Bali (December 28 to January 3) and Belize (December 29 to January 3).

How much are the New Year's Eve trips?

Per person in a shared room: Nicaragua from $2,750 for six nights, Bali from $2,850 for six nights and Belize from $3,150 for five nights. A 20% deposit holds your spot and the balance is due six weeks before the trip. Flights are extra.

What actually happens on New Year's Eve?

Each trip throws its own party. Nicaragua: a sunset photoshoot in white, a beach party with a private DJ, fireworks, a bonfire countdown at midnight and a run into the ocean. Bali: a party on the beach after a day of jungle ATVs and river rafting in Ubud. Belize: a countdown on the beach on Ambergris Caye.

What should I pack for the party?

For Nicaragua, something white. The party is all white, so bring one outfit you do not mind getting sandy. Bali and Belize have theme nights too, and the dress codes are in your crew guide.

Is it a party trip or a fitness trip?

Both. Mornings start with a group workout, days are surfing, snorkeling, boats or jungle adventures depending on the trip, and nights are theme parties and the beach. Most people do all of it.

Can I arrive early in Nicaragua?

Yes. Arriving one day early, on December 26, is $350. Arriving two days early, on December 25, is $500. Both include private transport from the airport and a private room.

Which airport do I fly into?

Nicaragua: Managua (MGA), about a 2.5 hour drive, or Liberia in Costa Rica (LIR), about 3.5 hours with a border crossing. Land by 2:00 PM on December 27. Bali: Denpasar (DPS), not Balikpapan (BPN). Land by 11:00 AM on December 28 for the group shuttle. Belize: Belize City (BZE) by 2:00 PM on December 29. Your short flight on to Ambergris Caye is included.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Cancel more than 45 days before the trip starts and everything you have paid becomes trip credit, good toward any SYB trip within 12 months. Inside 45 days, payments are non-refundable. Travel and medical insurance is required.
