Touch down in Dubrovnik and make your way to Gruz Port on the north side of the city, about 20 to 30 minutes from the airport. Meet us at the port at 1pm where our leaders will be waiting with the SYB boat. A short ride across the water and you are on Lopud, walking into our freshly renovated resort on the water. Cold beers and white wine are flowing as we get checked in and settled into paradise. First things first, we are jumping into the Adriatic. Snacks and champagne are waiting, rooms are ready, and we shake off the travel with a group workout before rolling into sunset happy hour and a family style dinner. With a private bartender mixing drinks, the first night sets the tone with laughter, dancing, and stars overhead.
The next morning the full SYB experience begins. Coffee in hand we move through a sweaty beach workout, yoga cool down, and ocean dip all before breakfast. Fueled up we set out on kayaks across the Adriatic. From there you can join the optional biking adventure through the villages of Suđurac and Šipanska Luka or choose to stay back and enjoy lunch at a sexy restaurant overlooking the bay. We paddle back in time for sunset yoga before a surprise theme party keeps the night alive.
No Croatia trip is complete without Dubrovnik's Old Town. History lovers and Game of Thrones fans will lose it exploring hidden corners and famous walls on our guided tour. After time to shop and explore, we gather for dinner in town. Cliff jumping optional but strongly encouraged.
Back on the island we hike up through the pines to the old fortress for views that'll stop you in your tracks, then make our way to the beach for games and the infamous 1000 abs challenge. Lunch, spa time, or a lazy afternoon by the infinity pool round it out before we reset with sunset yoga and another dinner by the water.
Then comes Ship Day. Not just any boat but a 200 foot pirate ship carrying us along the Dalmatian Coast. We swim, sun, party, and dare the 30 foot back jump before docking at a local island for dinner.
On the final day we hike, snorkel, kayak, or simply soak up the beach one last time. Workouts and workshops keep the energy high until our farewell yoga flows into the grand finale, Black Tie by the Sea. Dress up, drink up, and capture memories that live forever.
The next morning we check out and head back into Dubrovnik and the real world again. Until the next takeover.
Fly into Dubrovnik International Airport (DBV). Plan to land by 12pm on September 4 so you have time to get to Gruz Port on the north side of Dubrovnik, about 20 to 30 minutes by Uber or taxi. We meet at the port at 1pm and take the SYB boat across to Lopud together.
For the way home, we run a boat transfer back to Dubrovnik on the morning of September 10, arriving around 9:30am, which puts you at the airport by 10am. Book departing flights after 12pm and it stays stress free.
Would rather skip the port entirely. We can arrange a private transfer that collects you at the airport and delivers you straight to the hotel dock. Ask us and we will set it up.
Plans change, we get it. Cancel more than 45 days before the trip starts and 100% of what you've paid, deposit included, becomes trip credit you can use toward any SYB trip within 12 months.
To reserve your spot, a 20% deposit is required. It goes toward your total, and the remaining balance is due six weeks before the trip starts.
If you cancel within 45 days of departure, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions, and we do not offer cash refunds for any reason.
Travel and medical insurance is required, and you must secure it before joining the program. It's the best way to protect your investment if life happens. Worth it.
Croatia is the jewel of the Adriatic, famous for its turquoise water, medieval stone towns, and island hopping that feels straight out of a dream.
Our home for the week is Lopud, a car free island in the Elaphiti archipelago just off Dubrovnik. No cars, no traffic, no horns. Sandy beaches, pine forest, a Franciscan monastery up the hill, and a seafront promenade you can walk end to end in flip flops. It is the version of Croatia people spend a whole trip trying to find.
We are based at a luxury beach resort right on the water, freshly renovated and reopening in 2027 under the Hilton flag. From there we boat into Dubrovnik for the Old Town and the ancient walls, kayak the Adriatic into sea caves, hike the island for the views, and spend a full day on a two hundred foot pirate ship.
Your SYB Croatia adventure begins on September 4, 2027. We meet at Gruz Port in Dubrovnik at 1pm and boat over to Lopud together, where the rest of the crew will be waiting.
The trip wraps up on the morning of September 10, 2027. Our boat gets you back to Dubrovnik by about 9:30am, and it is a quick Uber or taxi to the airport from there. We recommend booking flights after 12pm to keep everything smooth.
Early September on the Adriatic is the secret season. Warm water, long light, and the island back to itself.
We keep you fueled with six breakfasts and four dinners through the week, filled with Mediterranean flavors, fresh seafood, and Croatian specialties that taste even better by the sea. Two dinners are left open so you can head into town and find your own favorite spot. Lunches are on your own, giving you the freedom to grab something light or settle into a long seaside meal.
Now for the fun part. Drinks are not included every day, but on the days we throw a party, the bar is open. Champagne is waiting the moment you step off the boat, the welcome night runs on an open bar while we get everyone oriented, our wild theme party is a full open bar party, and we close the week out the same way at the legendary Black Tie by the Sea. On the nights we head into town, drinks are on you.
Those are the nights the stories come from, and on those nights your drinks are always on us.
A luxury beach resort right on the water on Lopud, a car free island a short boat ride from Dubrovnik.
It is the property we fell in love with years ago. It has just come through a full renovation and reopens in 2027 under the Hilton flag, so everything inside is brand new.
111 rooms and suites, every single one with a balcony or terrace. A heated infinity pool looking straight out over the Adriatic, an indoor pool, a spa and wellness centre, a private beach house and beach gazebos on the water, three restaurants and two bars with panoramic terraces, a gym, and a private pier where our boats pull in.
Wake up to sea views, walk down to the beach in your swimsuit, end the night with the water outside your window. This is not just a place to sleep, it is half the reason to come.
Yes, and it is one of the best parts of staying here. The resort has a full spa and wellness centre with saunas, steam, hot tubs, and quiet space to do absolutely nothing. After a morning workout or a late night of dancing, slipping in there is the ultimate reset.
Access to the spa and wellness area is included with your trip. Stay as long as you want. Massages and treatments are available for an extra cost and can be booked directly through the hotel.
This is where recovery meets indulgence, and it is the balance that makes the whole week work.
Yes. Your room will be cleaned and refreshed every single day so you can focus on adventures, workouts, and parties without worrying about a thing. Fresh towels, made beds, and a tidy space are all taken care of for you.
From sandy feet after the beach to glitter after the theme party, housekeeping has you covered. You get all the fun of island life without any of the cleanup.
One of the highlights of the trip is exploring the walled city of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most iconic destinations in Europe.
You will join one of our curated tours, either diving into the world of Game of Thrones filming locations or taking a guided walk through the city’s rich history and hidden corners. After the tour you will have free time to shop, wander, or grab gelato before we meet up for dinner.
It is the perfect balance of culture, adventure, and fun that adds another unforgettable layer to your Croatia experience.
This is the day everyone talks about. We will take over a two hundred foot wooden pirate ship and sail across the Adriatic, stopping at secret coves and swimming spots along the way.
There will be a live DJ on board, epic dancing on deck, and the chance to leap from the high platform around thirty feet into the sea. Between the music, the swimming, and the nonstop energy, the whole day feels like a dream.
As the sun begins to set, we cruise back toward the island with the sky lit up in colors you will never forget. Pirate Ship Day is an SYB classic and truly one of the best days of your life.
These adventures are for all levels and our crew will guide you every step of the way. If you are not comfortable joining, there are always alternative ways to relax and explore the island.
After a late night you may not want to wake up and join us for a workout, but we highly suggest it. Included in your trip, the bootcamps and yoga sessions keep us energized and ready for the day. There is nothing better than waking up and sweating with your new friends. Our world-class trip leaders know how to start the day right with a workout that primes us for a full day of adventuring.
Croatia is one of the safest countries in Europe and our island of Lopud is calm, welcoming, and car free. The biggest thing to look out for is the occasional pickpocket in touristy areas like Dubrovnik, so just keep an eye on your belongings when exploring the city.
At the resort your room has a safe for valuables and our crew is always nearby. You can relax knowing you are in good hands and free to focus on the adventure.
The local currency is the Euro and you can easily grab cash from ATMs in both Dubrovnik and on Lopud. Most restaurants and shops also accept credit cards so you do not need to carry much cash.
Plan on bringing around 300 to 400 euros for the week to cover lunches, drinks, and extras.
Tap water in Croatia is clean and safe to drink, especially in Dubrovnik and on Lopud. You can fill up your bottle at the hotel or at restaurants without worry.
If we are out on boats or in smaller towns, you may prefer bottled water, which is always easy to find. Staying hydrated is key on this trip, so keep your water close as we adventure, train, and party by the sea.
Yes. In fact we recommend it. Most of our guests arrive on their own and leave with a whole new crew of friends. The biggest takeaway from this trip is always the people you meet, the perspectives you gain, and the moments you share.
It may feel scary at first, but the second you arrive you will be welcomed by our leaders and by an amazing group of likeminded adventurers who are ready to connect. This is one of the best parts of SYB and why so many people return year after year.
Yes. You can leave your phone in your bag and stay present while a professional photographer capture every moment. From sunrise workouts to beach adventures and late-night laughs, you’ll get high-quality content without lifting a finger.
And yes, it’s all included in your trip. Your post-trip photo dump is going to break the group chat.
Yes you can. This is an adventure on the Adriatic coast with a mix of workouts, parties, and exploring that will leave you feeling stronger and more alive. Our property is beautiful, clean, and comfortable with views that will take your breath away, but the focus is on community and experience, not just lounging around.
Mornings often start with workouts by the sea, evenings bring group dinners and dancing, and in between you will kayak, hike, and soak up the island vibe. Everything is built for all levels and you can always go at your own pace. Skip a workout or take a break whenever you need.
If you bring an open mind and a sense of adventure, you will thrive here and leave with stories that last a lifetime.
