Is this a fitness retreat or a party trip?

Both, on purpose. Mornings are for training, surfing and recovery. Two afternoons are spent at Finns Beach Club. If you want a silent, alcohol free week, this is the wrong trip and we would rather tell you now.

How fit do I need to be?

You do not need to arrive in peak shape. Workouts are led by SYB's trip leaders and personalized, so different levels train together.

How much does the Bali fitness retreat cost?

November 2 to 8, 2026 starts at $2,550 per person in a shared room and $3,350 for a private room. The April 2027 weeks start at $2,850 shared and $3,650 private. Flights are extra.

Do I need to know how to surf?

No. Two one-on-one surf lessons are included at a beginner friendly beach near the retreat, and boards are provided.

Which airport do I fly into?

Denpasar (DPS). Arrive by 11am on day one to catch the group shuttle to Canggu. Check the airport code before you pay: BPN is Balikpapan on Borneo, and it sits next to Bali in most flight searches.

What is the singles week?

April 5 to 11, 2027 is singles only, so every spot that week is taken by someone who is single. April 12 to 18 is open to everyone.

When is the best time for a fitness retreat in Bali?

April is the start of Bali's dry season, which is why two of the three upcoming weeks run then.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Cancel more than 45 days before the trip starts and everything you have paid becomes trip credit, good toward any SYB trip within 12 months. Inside 45 days, payments are non-refundable. Travel and medical insurance is required.
