Is April a good time to visit Bali?

Yes. April is the start of the dry season, which runs to October. The weather turns sunny and less humid, and the island is quieter than in July and August, the peak months.

What is the weather like in Bali in April?

Sunny and less humid than the wet season, which runs November to March. Bali is warm all year, with warm air and warm water in every month.

Is the surf good in Bali in April?

Yes. From April the offshore winds line up for the west and south coast, including Canggu, where the trip is based. Two one-on-one surf lessons are included at a beginner friendly beach.

Is Bali crowded in April?

Less than in summer. July and August are the busiest and most expensive months. April sits at the front edge of the dry season, before that rush.

When are SYB's Bali trips in April?

April 5 to 11, 2027 and April 12 to 18, 2027. Both are six nights based in Canggu, with a day in Ubud and a boat day to Nusa Penida. April 5 to 11 is singles only.

How much does it cost?

Both April weeks start at $2,850 per person in a shared room and $3,650 for a private room. Flights are extra. Book more than six weeks ahead and a 20% deposit holds your spot.

Which airport do I fly into?

Denpasar (DPS). Arrive by 11am on day one to catch the group shuttle to Canggu. Check the airport code before you pay: BPN is Balikpapan on Borneo, and it sits next to Bali in most flight searches.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Cancel more than 45 days before the trip starts and everything you have paid becomes trip credit, good toward any SYB trip within 12 months. Inside 45 days, payments are non-refundable. Travel and medical insurance is required.
